My offspring have been a bit more adventurous in the food department lately, so I thought I’d introduce clam pasta with cream sauce… ah well… more for me!
Lots of fried onion and garlic, with the dregs of some holiday whipping cream, frozen clams and their juice, salt, and a chunk of cream cheese, all mixed into a lovely sauce. Add cooked pasta. Offer it to children. Put it in the fridge. Reheat the next day for lunch. Top with freshly grated Parmesan, black pepper, and crushed dried parsley. Feel free to skip the fridge and children parts of the recipe.
